Kane wore his beguilers mask and walked amongst the living, it gnawed at his black heart that he had to mix with these vile ‘living’ things, a smile however flickered across his lips, the thought of making the living his play things amused him, these foolish creature had no idea of his plans. His target came into sight as he turned the corner, the large portal or gate station was up ahead, he need only pass through security and he would have access to the nearest hulk orbiting several miles above their heads. His spies heard reports of a ship the Marie Celeste that had been described as a ‘Space Tomb’ due to the amount of dead found aboard. A beep brought his attention back to the now, ‘Access granted’ came the synthetic voice from the security barrier, striding forwards confidently, his mask never slipped.
Several days had passed since Kanes visit to the Marie Celeste, what delights and treasures he found, he had gathered a horde of the dead, bound the strongest to be his command group they would lead his shambling army. Lemmy to his left started move his bony fingers across the cords, a deathly hum reverberated down the ships corridors, the sound merged with the throb of the gate device warming up set to port the undead horde back to the living city below….
